Julie
has worked in the marine industry for the last 17 years. After graduating
from college, she worked for a manufacturer of roller furling and propellers.
In 1999, she got her 50 ton US Coast Guard license and went to work as
a captain of commuter ferries in Boston Harbor. Juile has worked as a
Rigging Project Manager at Manchester Marine for the last 6 years. In
2006 Julie completed the Chapman School of Seamanship's Yacht and Small
Craft Surveying program joined SAMS (Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors)
as a Surveyor Associate. She is also Standards Certified through ABYC
(American Boat and Yacht Council). Julie has raced on both coasts and
is active in the Marblehead J/24 fleet. She has also delivered boats throughout
the Northeast and Caribbean.
